Shield Stone Pet Hospital Inc. has been established since 1982. We are celebrating our 30 year anniversary this year. During this period we have made significant progress in our facility as well as in personnel.
We started out in a 900 square foot old house and now we have expanded to a 3200 square foot office building that is equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, EKG, digital endoscopy and laparoscopy tower by Storz, all types of monitoring equipment and an in house laboratory to measure blood chemistry and CBC, and a dental suite ( digital dental x-ray, multi-function dental unit by Dental Air).
Besides being a general practice, we have been taking care of eye problems in the Fresno area for over 20 years. Since then we have realized that the eyes need different attention than the general body, so we set up a separate eye clinic area. This section is fully equipped to do a proper eye exam and surgery.
In order to facilitate all the technologies and in depth search for your pet’s health problems, we are exapanding from a one doctor practice to multi doctor care plus our staff is experienced and willing to serve the pet’s needs. Their motto is Care, Love, Healing, and Joy.
So whatever the reason for your visit to our hospital, we will try to make sure that you and your pet have an easy and pleasant experience, while taking care of your pet’s medical and surgical needs.
